Here he is :) My Sweet Edward. Finished.

We took a 2 hr road trip to viit my sister and his mom in San Antonio. I worked on him some during the car ride. I had left the picture at home accidentally. Luckily, his mom had the movie Edward Scissorhands. Here's the photo [link]

I sat alone on the cold tile floor, watching the movie as it poored down rain outside. It felt very odd and strangly intimite to finish him while watching the movie - the sad music playing. I feel it changed the flow of my pencil.

Hope you like him. This was truly a labor of love :love:



Next project:
V in V For Vendeta - since he is my hero and we need hope right now (or just to kill some bad people :D)

The hair is just perfect, and so are all the small details. I love how you made the scars, they truly look realistic. Great work :)

That's such a great drawing! I reeeally like the shading of his face and his expression.
I like the film although I was very afraid of Edward when I first saw it (I was about seven years old, I guess :P). You SO will get a fav for that :D

Very nice portrait. You did a very good job on the scars. Maybe a tip for your next portrait: try to make the dark parts even darker. Or maybe it's your scan or photo that lightened them.
